RapidTale is a home for serialized fiction — original stories released chapter by chapter, edited and published by our editorial team. We believe great stories should be easy to find, free to read, and impossible to put down.

What we publish

Original short stories and serialized novels across fantasy, romance, mystery, science fiction, drama, horror and more. New chapters are published regularly by our staff of writers and editors.

For readers

Reading is completely free — no paywalls, no login required. We remember where you left off (even without an account, on your own device), and you can like, bookmark and comment on the stories you love.

For writers

Who we are

RapidTale is part of the SB Link Network, a small team that has published and maintained a family of reading and learning websites for several years. Our editorial desk writes, selects and edits every story, and our public-domain book collection is drawn from established, freely licensed archives.
