Little Rabbit and the Not-Yet Tower

Chapter 1: Big Plans

Little Rabbit wanted to build the tallest tower in the meadow.

Not a tall tower.

Not a very tall tower.

A tower so tall that a passing cloud might stop to admire it.

She emptied her wooden blocks onto the rug.

Clatter, tumble, bump.

Her younger brother, Pip, looked up from his cushion.

“Can Rabbit towers reach the moon?”

“This one might,” she said.

She put down a square block. Then another. Then a long, narrow one with a chip in the corner.
