Far beyond the edge of the night sky, where the stars shimmered like tiny lanterns, there was a cluster of worlds filled with creatures unlike anything found on Earth.

On the soft, green moons of one distant star lived the Lumo—gentle, squishy beings with bright eyes and curious minds. They loved to build, invent, and explore. Nearby, beneath the endless waves of an icy ocean moon, lived the Neri, graceful sea creatures whose voices were so beautiful that travelers said their songs sounded like the music of the stars themselves.

The Lumo and the Neri were very different.

The Lumo loved machines and experiments. They created clever inventions, including tiny helpers made of metal that could carry heavy loads and protect their cities during storms.

The Neri believed the ocean held ancient wisdom. They listened to the currents, followed the rhythms of the tides, and honored the spirits of the sea that had guided their ancestors for generations.

For a long time, the two groups looked at each other with suspicion. The Lumo thought the Neri were afraid of change. The Neri thought the Lumo cared too much about inventions and not enough about nature.
