Chut and Kra
Long ago, before the Crimson Isle had villages, gardens, and winding paths, it was a quiet place known only by the songs of the waves. Across the great ocean, on the western mainland, lived a clever and curious people called the Chutkra.
Among them lived two remarkable Chutkra: Chut, a builder with a heart full of courage, and Kra, his wise and thoughtful wife, who always looked beyond what could be seen.
Chut was famous throughout the land. He was the first Chutkra to build great structures from stone, and he created things that others believed were impossible. His greatest achievement was the Great Lodge Lake.
The Mother River once rushed freely through the valley, but Chut carefully placed stones and earth along its path. Over time, the waters gathered and formed a beautiful lake where fish swam, birds rested, and Chutkra families gathered together.
Everyone admired Chut’s creation.
“You have done something wonderful,” the Chutkra said. “You have shown us what patience and imagination can accomplish.”
